way to achieve the same look without giving up the benefits that came with the log construction.

practically maintenance free and only requires occasional washing to keep it looking bright and new.

Logs and log sided homes were maintenance night mares. They required repeated applications of
stain, oils and sealers. There was always the threat of insect infestation. Boring beetles
are attracted to dead logs and that is all that a log cabin or a log side house is. As the sun shines
on logs they tend to bleach out or fade and if not maintained will eventually succumb to wood rot. Vinyl
log siding has none of those problems. Vinyl log siding is sun resistant and insect resistant
too. It will stand up well in the heat and humidity as well as the cold, wind and snow.

Keep in mind that when you put the siding on it is permanent. What little more you may pay
today for the material will be repaid over and over again when you do not have to do the maintenance
on the vinyl.
